Whoops, here’s that update: tracking is underway! We spent two evenings last week at the Compound and made major progress on “Amigos” and “Connie,” two new songs that we hope to finish early this year. Check out what the fun looked like (sort of) below!
Our big thanks to Rob Harvick (Dalai Sonido, Fast Dragon) for drumming his ass off on these tracks, to Matt Guy (the Bumpers, Forcefield ON) for throwing down some spicy horn parts, and to Micah Panzich (Paperplanes), Robb MacLean (Limbeck) and Jeff Electric (Downtown/Union) for making time to join us on gang vocals. We are in awe of their individual musicianship…check out those bands if you haven’t already!
More work is to be done–keep it here for more updates as we beat these songs into submission in the New Year.
